Join us on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Training Facility in Doral, FL for a ride to remember amongst residents, civic leaders, and hundreds of first responders that will be "Riding for the Cause" to bring awareness and hope to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Celebrating April – Autism Awareness Month!

In partnership with Dania Pointe, the Dan Marino Foundation is hosting Autism Awareness Month Family Sunday! Families are invited to autism-friendly entertainment including music, interactive performances, and life-size games on the Lawn such as chess, Connect 4, and more. The Resource Marketplace will showcase community nonprofit partners and sponsors.

The city of Dania Beach is proud to host an exciting Earth Day Celebration! Join us for a family-friendly event featuring a beach cleanup contest with fantastic prizes, free Earth Day T-shirts, face painting, light bites, and clean-up materials for all participants. Children can earn community service hours while having fun and learning about the importance of preserving our environment.

City of Cooper City will be celebrating Autism Awareness Day, Saturday April 15th, 2023 at the BSO Fire Station. The event will have public safety demos, complimentary food, and resource vendors.

The Payton Nash Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to improving the community for our special needs population. Established in 2015 by Ryan  and Brandi Nash, whose daughter Payton was diagnosed with autism in 2004, the Nash family has raised over $367,00 the past ten years for the special needs community through their annual Payton's Pals Golf Tournament. Since 2012, the charitable funds raised have benefited the Dan Marino Foundation.
