Third Party Fundraisers & Events

The Dan Marino Foundation is extremely grateful to the many outside individuals and corporations who wish to organize events to support the Foundation's mission of "empowering individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities."

The Dan Marino Foundation defines a "Third-Party Event" as any fundraising activity by a non-affiliated group or individual, where the Foundation or Marino Campus has no fiduciary responsibilities and little or no staff involvement. Only those third-party events which meet specific criteria and benefit The Dan Marino Foundation or Marino Campus will be considered for approval. Each event will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The Dan Marino Foundation is accountable to the public and Internal Revenue Service for fundraising activities using the name of The Dan Marino Foundation or Marino Campus. To guarantee your fundraising event is successful and in compliance with the Foundation's mission and legal requirements, please click the link below to review the Third-Party Event Guidelines, which have been developed to serve as standards for those who organize special events, benefits or promotions on behalf of The Dan Marino Foundation.

As a final note, although the Foundation actively encourages Third-Party Fundraising Events, we must approve all events in advance. The Foundation and Marino Campus maintain the right to decline events. This is an important safeguard in preserving the integrity of the name and reputation of The Dan Marino Foundation and Marino Campus, as well as our commitment to our Board, donors and those we serve.
